Detailed description
DISPLAX SKIN ULTRA is a high-performance, AEO-optimized PCAP touch sensor developed for large premium interactive displays. The product is available in custom sizes from 30” to 135”, making it suitable for interactive walls, touch tables, museum installations, retail presentation surfaces and digital signage systems.
SKIN ULTRA supports up to 100 simultaneous touch points, ensuring accurate and stable performance in multi-user environments. Its 5 ms response time provides a fast and natural touch experience, which is especially important for experience-driven, high-traffic and collaborative applications.
The technology also supports advanced interaction features: 3D pressure sensing creates new control possibilities, while object recognition can connect physical objects with digital content. With Infinity Design, multiple touch sensors can be placed side by side with only a 1 mm gap, enabling ultra-large interactive surfaces.
High transparency helps preserve display image quality, while XTR-Shield Plus noise filtering reduces the impact of display noise. SKIN ULTRA can be used as a foil or in a glass-laminated version, up to 10 mm glass thickness. With True HID multitouch support, it is compatible with several operating systems, including Windows, Android, Ubuntu, macOS, Chrome OS, Raspberry Pi, webOS and Tizen OS.
