Overview
The Smart Charge Locker (SCL) is a modular self-service solution for securely storing, charging, dispensing and returning mobile devices such as PDAs, handheld terminals, smartphones and tablets. The platform tracks device movements and user actions in real time, reducing handling costs, downtime and asset loss. Centralized supervision and logging give IT, production and logistics teams instant visibility into device location and condition.
Monitoring and Access
SCL ties collection and return to user authentication: operators identify themselves via barcode, RFID badge or a PIN entered on the touchscreen. While inside the locker, devices are automatically charged and are ready to use upon pickup. If a device is returned faulty, the user can enter a note or RMA on the display; the system emails the designated IT/service team and logs the event.
